Activity at the „Urban Future. The better-cities event” Conference.

 „Urban Future. The better-cities event” Conference, March 24-27, 2026, Ljubljana, Slovenia

 

Associate Professor Dr. Eng. Lucian V. Fechete-Tutunaru and Lecturer Dr. Eng. Ferenc Gaspar represented the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUC-N) as technical partners of the city of Cugir within the JUST STREETS project.

Within the framework of the conference, the TUC-N representatives were involved in the following activities:

• Participation in the General Assembly of the JUST STREETS project consortium.
• Contribution to the session Mobility Justice Workshop: From Big Words to Real Action, where they co-hosted the workshop entitled “Citizen Budgeting – Case Study: Cugir”.
• Organization of a thematic activity within the workshop Street Justice: Reclaiming Space Together, entitled “Citizen Science & Street Intelligence”, focusing on methodologies for urban data collection using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
• Participation in various thematic workshops and sessions organized within the Urban Future Conference.
