Continuous traffic measurements

Before the start of the activities proposed by the project, traffic measurements were carried out on arteries of interest in the city of Cugir, between 20 and 27 April 2024. These were resumed between 3 and 10 March 2025, April 2025.

The Traffic count SDR equipment produced by the DataCollect company was used.

Important technical features:

• Uses the Doppler effect to identify traffic participants;
• Minimum and maximum measurable speed: 3 and 250 km/h;
• Vehicle classification by length;
• Maximum autonomy with 12V and 18 Ah battery 21 days;
• Working temperature Between: (-20 +40) 0C.
• Internal memory 128 MB;
• Bluetooth data transfer.
