Measurements of bicycle trips

The attractiveness of cycling was evaluated both through continuous traffic measurements and through direct measurements made with SDR equipment on existing bicycle paths in Cugir. The bicycle path connecting the city of Cugir to the village of Vinerea (length 2.3 km) was analyzed, as well as a marked bicycle lane in the city on Victoriei Street. The results of these measurements are presented in the accompanying figures.

The measurements carried out showed that the bike path is also widely used by motorized two-wheeled vehicles.
